António Caxito Marques spoke at the 4th International Arbitration Conference, held on 4 June in Maputo, at the Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI) Auditorium.

During Module II, he addressed the topic 'Appeals against the merits of arbitral awards in Angola', discussing the applicable legal framework, the key differences compared to the systems in Mozambique and Portugal, as well as current legislative review trends.

Organised by the Centre for Commercial Arbitration, the conference brought together national and international experts to discuss the main challenges and trends in arbitration, in a context of its growing role in dispute resolution and the strengthening of the business environment.
